## Summary

The procurement process concerns a tender issued by Marine Power Systems Ltd for the "MWS Demonstrator Anchor Installation," focused on marine construction works. The project is designated to take place at the BiMEP test site in northern Spain, with the tender period ending on 10 December 2021. The installation of anchors is critical for the operation of a floating offshore energy platform system, necessitating a highly experienced contractor to meet a completion deadline by March 2023. The procurement method is classified as limited, indicating a selective process that invites certain suppliers to bid.

This tender presents significant opportunities for growth for businesses engaged in marine construction, offshore installations, and associated services, especially those with expertise in anchor installation and marine operations. Companies that specialise in marine construction works, offshore services, or vessel hire may find this tender particularly advantageous. Given the specified eligibility criteria, potential bidders will need to demonstrate compliance with minimum standards to qualify for participation, which presents a clear pathway for both established firms and consortiums looking to expand their portfolios in the renewable energy sector.
