The Mid and West Wales region consists of Powys, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. The appointed organisation(s) will deliver the service across the region as a whole. The Service will be person-centred, issue-based and outcome-focussed in its service delivery. The Service will assist at reviews and conferences only when a child has a dispute over some significant matter (and when the child explicitly consents to advocacy support). The Advocacy Service for Children and Young People has been split into 4 lots. Lot 1 - Independent Professional Advocacy Lot 2 - Independent Visiting Service Lot 3 - Complaints in relation to the NHS Service Lot 4 - Regional/Local Safeguarding Boards Lots 1 & 2 are to be delivered together. The duration of the Framework Agreement will be for 3 years with an option to extend for up to a further 1 year, at the Council's discretion.
