To provide information and advice, befriending, advocacy and confidential support for individuals, family members and information and awareness raising for carers.* To work with a range of communities who are among the most vulnerable, stigmatised and socially excluded groups in society* To support the BME Community who have complex needs (some of whom have been dispersed to Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan as asylum seekers and refugees)* To provide a supporting role to the BME population with mental health issues* To improve understanding and raise awareness of issues facing people from the Black and Minority Ethnic communities with mental health issues.* To reduce stigma and discrimination.* To address race inequality and implement measurable improvements to ensure better mental health outcomes from the BME community* The service will engage people through digital platforms via teams, zoom and offer telephone support, where face to face meetings cannot be provided because of COVID - 19 pandemic* The service will deliver a range of educational, informative online engagement activities for BME service users and their carers who are vulnerable and isolated due to COVID 19 pandemicNOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
