## Summary

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership is seeking tenders for the provision of Community Optometrist Services across various locations, focusing primarily on glaucoma assessments. The contract is structured into three lots, encompassing services in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. The tendering process is open and is set to close on 10th January 2022, with awards anticipated by 24th January 2022. This procurement falls under the services category and uses an open procurement method, aiming to engage qualified optometrists with specific accreditations in eye health examinations.

This opportunity presents significant potential for growth within the healthcare sector, particularly for businesses that specialise in optometry and related health services. Companies equipped to provide glaucoma assessment services, especially those with the necessary accreditations and infrastructure within the specified regions, could benefit substantially. The diverse lots allow for tailored responses, enabling smaller firms to compete alongside larger entities, thereby fostering a competitive bidding environment.
