Through GTL, MIT students are matched with school hosts in other countries for three weeks every year in January. At each location, students prepare and deliver tailored courses on STEM subjects that complement the school's curriculum and highlight MIT's hands-on approach to education. The programme supports the enhancement of STEM education and seeks to raise aspiration in schools in Wales in teaching these subjects.
