## Summary

The Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council is currently planning a tender for the "Porth Transport Hub - Meet the Buyer Event", designed to facilitate the procurement process for the development of a new transport hub in Porth. This project is aimed at enhancing public transport connectivity, with significant investments in local infrastructure, including electric vehicle charging points and upgrades to the local travel network. The key event for potential suppliers is slated for 16th February from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, where local businesses will have the opportunity to learn more about the project and available contracts, followed by one-to-one meetings from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on the same day.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for businesses in the construction and supply sectors, particularly those focused on local construction services such as brickwork, carpentry, flooring, and glazing. Companies looking to expand their operations in the Rhondda Cynon Taf region, including small to medium-sized enterprises with expertise in public works and construction materials, are encouraged to participate. The event not only serves as a gateway to secure contracts but also fosters collaboration within the local supply chain, potentially leading to increased business growth and community engagement.
