The service will also include the mechanised mulching/vegetation management service ready to respond to the clearance of infections of smaller diameter trees, (Phyto/Chalara/Dothistroma). This will be reactive work as and when required by NRW ### Lot Information North Wales The purpose of the requirement is to ensure that NRW meets its statutory duties and provides a Harvesting service for North Wales. This will also include manual felling, winch and banksmen provision, for clearfell and thinning. Contractors will plan harvesting operations and prepare a detailed Method Statement and Risk Assessment for all harvesting activities within the required coupes, to the satisfaction of the Forestry Operations Contracts manager Mid Wales The purpose of the requirement is to ensure that NRW meets its statutory duties and provides a Harvesting service for Mid Wales. This will also include manual felling, winch and banksmen provision, for clearfell and thinning.
