On behalf of MCS, the regional coordinators will supervise the species/theme-specific contracts.The Marine Treasures project covers the following marine species and themes; Native oyster (Ostrea edulis) - Pembrokeshire focussed, although links to Llyn & Ynys Mon region Pink sea fan (Eunicella verrucosa) - Pembrokeshire only Seagrass (all relevant species)- covers both regions Crawfish (Palinurus elephas) - covers both regions Water quality theme - covers both regionsThis invitation to quote covers part of the crawfish element of the NaB development phase. The project aims include the production of a costed delivery and monitoring strategy for crawfish restoration or recovery interventions which should make use of a variety of organisations, fishers and volunteers.This contract is part of the development stage of NaB, which is a National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) programme. Further work on crawfish restoration and/or recovery will be part of the next (delivery) stage following a successful development stage.The contractor will work closely with the Llyn & Mon Regional Coordinator who will be leading on this work.
