This research is intended to inform the element of the reforms that seeks to strengthen the way that in-scope multi-occupied residential buildings are inspected and regulated, and how enforcement action is taken.The research will explore the current and future capacity of the multi-occupied building safety workforce across all Welsh local authorities; capture views of key housing stakeholders; identify current local authority requirements around existing regulatory system in relation to resource, capacity and competence and explore how existing systems of delivery of regulation and enforcement and sanctions function and what barriers exist to that delivery.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
