## Summary

Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council is currently engaged in a public procurement process titled "Neath Port Talbot Replacement Local Development Plan. The tender is part of the planning stage for assessing candidate sites for the Replacement Local Development Plan in Neath Port Talbot, with the tender period concluding on 25th April 2022. The procurement process is open and encompasses a range of ecological surveys throughout the region, which are expected to provide essential data to inform site assessments. Key dates include a Call for Candidate Sites announcement on 1st March 2022 and an award period that ended on 3rd May 2022.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in ecological consultancy and environmental management. Companies with expertise in conducting habitat surveys, ecological assessments, and producing comprehensive reports are particularly well-suited to compete. The work will entail collaborating with the Neath Port Talbot's Countryside and Wildlife Team to ensure consistency and quality in ecological evaluations, and it will contribute to critical decisions about land use and conservation strategies in the region. Participation could enhance business visibility and establish valuable connections within the public sector.
