## Summary

The procurement process is led by WWF Cymru, based in Cardiff, which is seeking to commission the creation of "Agroecology case studies production" that encompasses written, video, and audio content. This tender falls under the services category and is currently in the tender stage with a submission deadline set for 27 April 2022. Interested parties should carefully review the eligibility criteria and provide evidence of their expertise relevant to the brief. Further details and documentation can be accessed through the links provided.

This opportunity allows businesses specialised in media production, particularly those with experience in writing, photography, and film production, to engage meaningfully with environmental themes, specifically agroecology and sustainable farming. Companies that can demonstrate a strong team capability, innovative ideas for project execution, and a solid understanding of agricultural practices would be particularly well-suited to compete. By participating in this tender, businesses can contribute to a significant initiative aimed at promoting regenerative farming practices in Wales, while potentially expanding their client portfolio through partnerships with WWF Cymru.

## Notice

As part of our work in influencing on the new Agriculture Act for Wales and the related Sustainable Farming Scheme, WWF Cymru wish to commission a suite of in-depth case studies which focus on regenerative farming and agroecology as an approach. The case studies will need to be presented in the form of1) Written reports2) A series of videos3) A series of audio pieces4) Accompanying photography. The purpose of creating this suite of content is both to inform our policy and advocacy work as well as to demonstrate what is possible through an agroecology approach to land use to the public and decision makers. The case studies will be used across social media, broadcast, print media, web, directly with stakeholders and supporters amongst other places. We want to demonstrate the potential for agroecology in Wales. There is a need to shift the narrative about sustainable farming solutions/agroecology being too difficult and costly for farmers. We will require the successful candidate to conduct detailed interviews with a variety of farms (poultry, dairy, cattle, sheep, arable) at different farm types (upland, lowland, coastal, small family farms, larger scale farms etc), and develop a number of case studies that capture the journey farmers have already taken towards becoming a regenerative farm, and how they embed agroecological practices across their activities from farm to fork. This should include how they sell their product in the supply chain and any social, cultural, environmental and economic benefits that arise from adopting agroecological practices - including, but not limited to, sustaining the traditional Welsh family farm business model. The questions will be designed to capture the journey of those farmers who have already transitioned to agroecology, identify what support they received to allow them to transition towards more regenerative farming practices, what support they need in the future and to then translate that into what farmers (those who have transitioned to regenerative farming practices and also those who have not yet transitioned) would need now from future Welsh Government support schemes to achieve that transition e.g. the Sustainable Farming Scheme, as well as wider government programmes such as knowledge exchange schemes and the community food strategy (supporting farmers to sell into the local market for example). This content should also include simple explainers for public audiences and seek to inspire farmers across Wales to adopt regenerative practices and embed agroecological principles in their farm to fork activities.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=120576.
