What is the purpose of the Prior Information Notice?The purpose of the Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to conduct a soft market testing exercise to gain industry's views on a number of considerations related to a green hydrogen hub in the North Wales region.The soft market testing will help us collect information and perspectives from the market in relation to the current state of the green hydrogen market, opportunities and barriers in its development, and the need for public sector investment. This will help shape any future procurement process and therefore any potential contract opportunity. Ambition North Wales anticipates it will then formulate a preferred approach to the procurement/competition.Responding to this PIN does not place any compulsion on applicants to enter the competition or for Ambition North Wales to proceed any further with any requirements.Dates and other information contained within this notice are indicative only, may be subject to change and may not reflect any ITT that could be published in the future.Ambition North Wales may use any information and comments provided and / or future correspondence when compiling any final tender documents but reserves the right not to accept any such information or comments from any respondent. The decision will be at the sole discretion of Ambition North Wales.Interested parties shall obtain for themselves, at their own expense, all information necessary for the preparation of their responses to this PIN.Following receipt of completed submission, Ambition North Wales may also undertake supplier sessions and meet with suppliers to discuss their market engagement feedbackPlease be aware that at this stage we will not be formally assessing proposals, and nothing given or provided at this stage will be evaluated as part of any future procurement process.
