## Notice

Port Talbot library is located on the first floor of the Aberafan Shopping centre and is the larger of the two main Central Libraries in Neath Port Talbot.The current library which was originally opened in 1998, was fully refurbished in 2012 when a new improved open plan layout was adopted.The library hosts a number of groups and activities, including many Arts and Crafts sessions, Local History groups and serves many different communities in NPT.Trends and usage of public libraries have changed in recent years and we therefore propose a partial refurbishment of Port Talbot library which will enable us to utilise identifiable areas which are currently underused and will facilitate the provision of a MakerSpace area.Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council was looking for a suitably experienced supplier to design, supply and install furniture for a MakerSpace area in Port Talbot Library.
