## Summary

Flintshire County Council and Wrexham County Borough Council are planning a tender process to procure a provider for delivering advocacy services for adults in North East Wales. The contract aims to provide Independent Professional Advocacy to eligible adults, in line with the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014. Additionally, non-statutory community advocacy services will be offered to individuals facing participation barriers. The anticipated contract start date is 1st April 2023, with a future notice date set for 5th December 2022.

This tender opportunity presents a chance for businesses specializing in advocacy services, particularly those experienced in providing professional and community advocacy. Suppliers with expertise in diverse advocacy forms, such as citizen and self-advocacy for various demographics like learning disabilities, autism, mental health, carers, and dementia, would be well-suited to compete. Interested organisations are encouraged to express their interest by 14th October by contacting lee.holman@flintshire.gov.uk.
