The intention is to identify and develop a strategic pipeline of renewable energy projects on the Welsh public estate.The programme is expecting to initiate the development of approximately six large-scale onshore renewable energy projects, primarily wind energy but with the possibility of solar PV projects, over the next 2 years.Welsh Government is looking to secure the services of a suitable consultancy firm to undertake the following:- Environmental Impact Assessment for this programme and produce an Environmental Statement (ES) including all necessary baseline surveys and impact assessments;- Ensure the integration of the EIA process with design to inform phased wind farm layouts leading to a design freeze;- Assist in the preparation of material for use in public exhibition; and- Prepare and submit a planning application, encompassing all documentation to meet the Planning and Environment Decisions Wales Case Officer's requirements.
