## Summary

The Cardiff Council has awarded Rpj Builders Limited a contract worth £3,600,000 for a Framework Agreement for Pool of Small Contractors in the works category. The tender was initiated on 29th September 2023 and the contract was signed on 17th May 2023. The Cardiff Council acts as both the client and principal contractor for this procurement, and the work involves repairing void properties for new tenancies, requiring a pool of smaller contractors to assist in completing specific activities.

This procurement process by the Cardiff Council presents opportunities for small contractors to participate in maintaining and upgrading residential properties. Businesses specializing in construction work for multi-dwelling buildings and individual houses would find this tender well-suited for growth. The tender, which was open for bids and attracted 54 submissions, offers a chance for contractors to contribute to the maintenance of both vacant and occupied properties, enhancing their business opportunities in the construction industry.
