The Dee Catchment Phosphorous Reduction Strategy (DCPRS) (consultation draft) was produced jointly by Flintshire and Wrexham County Borough Councils in November 2021 to provide a strategic approach for delivering phosphorous reductions in the Dee Catchment whilst also facilitating the growth provided by both Council's Local Development Plan. Further work was however required to assess the feasibility of specific phosphorous mitigation options and to prepare an action plan that will enable the Council and private developers deliver the mitigation that will enable development to take place.
