The project aims to engage three north Wales Youth Shed groups in creating podcasts based on historical Welsh folklore and legends. The deadline for expressions of interest is 10th January 2023, with a project budget ranging from £8,000 to £10,000. This opportunity is ideal for businesses offering services in sound recordings, youth education, adult education, artistic and literary creation, and interpretation services. Companies with experience in working with teenagers and knowledge of Welsh heritage and culture would be well-suited to compete in this tender. The project focuses on engaging young people in creative activities to enhance their confidence, skills, and understanding of Welsh heritage. ## Notice * We, at Cadw Lifelong Learning, would like to procure the services of an inspirational dramaturg, writer and workshop leader to create twelve bespoke podcasting workshops followed up by three tailored scripts and final podcast recordings. The project will be working with three north Wales Youth Shed groups with young people who have or are experiencing challenges with confidence and mental health.* This leader must have a track record in working with teenagers/young adults and have a good understanding of the background of historical Wales and its folklore and legends. This person will be required to take the young people on a journey of exploration and research within their own communities to discover their local Myths and Legends. The initial workshops will be to: support the young people to research, create and evidence an archive of their findings, whilst building their confidence, self-esteem and skill sets.* The archival evidence of the young people's work should then be created into three different radio scripts for each geographical area.
