Tai Tarian is seeking to engage contractors with a proven track record of delivering best practice on comparable contracts and able to work pro-actively with Tai Tarian to assist in delivering its social and environmental agenda within the communities in which it operates. Interested contractors are invited to attend a 'Meet the Buyer' event, held on 30th June 2023, at an appropriately sized venue. The day will allow interested contractors the opportunity to meet with Tai Tarian's representatives to gain an understanding of our requirements. In addition to this, Tai Tarian hopes that by providing this opportunity, contractors can demonstrate what is currently possible in the market and to help confirm our requirements moving forward. For example, we are asking for interested contractors to tell us: - What makes a contract attractive to them. - Lessons learnt from previous contracts. - Why they want to work with Tai Tarian. - Innovative ways of working (doing things differently). - Opportunities to reduce the environmental impact of our contracts and material specification choices. - Experience of working on contracts to reach the goal of carbon neutral homes and to retrofit properties with energy efficiency and decarbonisation measures.
