## Summary

The Cardiff Council has awarded a contract for the provision of Frontline and Supported Accommodation services to The Wallich. The procurement method used was a limited tender with an award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition. The contract value is £1,077,120.4 GBP, and it was signed on 21st April 2023. The contracting process was led by the Cardiff Council, a regional or local authority in the industry category of Housing and community amenities. The procurement took place in Cardiff, UKL22.

This tender for providing Frontline and Supported Accommodation services created an opportunity for businesses in the housing support sector. Organisations with expertise in delivering projects focused on homeless support, resettlement, and rehabilitation would be well-suited to compete. The Cardiff Council's decision-making process highlighted the importance of an exclusive arrangement between the landlord and provider, prioritising the well-being of vulnerable individuals in need of support services.
