## Summary

The Powys County Council has awarded contracts for the "Adults Social Care Training" and "Childrens Social Care Training" under a framework agreement that will run from 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2027. The Council conducted the procurement exercise using an open procedure and Light Touch Regime, aiming for flexibility and compliance with transparency principles. This presents opportunities for businesses in the social care training sector to tender for annual funding allocations linked to grant funding and Council processes.

Businesses in the social care training sector catering to Adults and Children's Services should consider engaging with Powys County Council's re-opening of the Social Care Training Framework. Providers on the framework benefit from annual schedules aligned with workforce demand and grant funding. The Council's procurement method ensures equal treatment of providers under Treaty principles, allowing for contract flexibility and transparency while maintaining compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
