## Notice

The South Wales Miners' Library (SWML) at Swansea University was opened in October 1973 to house material collected by the Coalfield History Project. There is a pressing need to relocate the SWML from its current location to new premises. An opportunity to move the collection into short-term accommodation has arisen but longer-term options are to be explored. The project therefore provides an opportunity to consider how the collections in the SWML can be preserved and presented to new audiences, future proofing this significant cultural asset.The aim is to produce a detailed feasibility study and appraisal of options to support the future location of the South Wales Miners' Library (SWML).Key Deliverables* The maximum budget for this requirement including any expenses is PS28,000 ex VAT (PS35,000 including VAT).* This is externally funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and may be subject to funding conditions* Interim findings will be presented for review by 29 March 2024. Following this review any further work and refinements will be completed by 30 April 2024.* The report should be delivered in English in hard copy and electronically. The electronic copies should be provided in PDF format and Word/RTF format.
