Through use of a social prescribing approach, the practices feel that their patients will experience the following benefits:* Social interaction - reducing the impact of social isolation.* Sense of purpose - improving levels of self-resilience, confidence and independence* Exercise - improving general levels of mental and physical health.In terms of benefits to the GP Practices, it is believed that access to this scheme could provide a more appropriate intervention for patients who do not require clinical intervention via GP Practice.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
