## Notice

Having previously carried out a condition survey of the facility, Cyngor Gwynedd has committed to redevelop the Crematorium. The Crematorium Service in Bangor has identified that there are significant issues with the functionality of the cremators. Currently there are three cremators on site as follows.Cremator No.1: Newton with FT control system.Cremator No.2: Newton with CS control system.Cremator No.3: FTIII with IFZW control system.The latter two cremators are very old, dating back to the 1990's. The former is approximately 15 years old and is fully abated. It is the intention to replace the existing Newton cremation equipment with a new cremator, abatement and operating system.Further details are provided in Bangor Crematorium - Upgrading Works Scoping Document.An independent specialist services company with a good working knowledge of cremators and mercury abatement systems is required to project manage the redevelopment at Bangor Crematorium.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
