A recent report commissioned as part of this programme has given Cardiff and Vale an overview of progress within the area of Peri-Natal Infant Mental Health and Parent Infant Relationships. This pilot responds to one of the areas of 'gaps' in support noted as part of that report. Additional short-term capacity within the health and social care workforce has been supported, alongside additional training and skill building with the existing staff teams. This pilot will provide an opportunity to work with a group of citizens with new ways of working, that will help us understand what works (or what doesn't work) for this group of people.Cardiff and Vale UHB would like to procure a provider to deliver a service to fathers who are identified as needing additional support during the peri-natal period following birth.
