## Notice

Hywel Dda Health Board ("HDUHB") has awarded a contract for the provision of FortiGate Fortinet 501E Support and Maintenance across the Health Board. This contract renewal will assist the Cyber team by continuing to facilitate the use of 501E Firewalls to ensure the Health Boards primary firewall protection remains in place whilst the new firewalls are installed. The requirement is essential as it provides security on the perimeter of hospital sites to prevent cyber-attacks, and without should an attack take place it would shut down all Digital Services within the Health Board, having a detrimental impact on the delivery of Clinical Services.The Health Trust Europe ("HTE") ICT Solutions Three (3) framework agreement (ComIT3 - HTE-011006) is compliant with UK/EU procurement legislation and provides a compliant route to source entire information communication technology and digitisation requirements across the complete IT vendor and value-added reseller landscape ranging from hardware, software, cybersecurity and computer science solutions. This framework includes several potential providers who have achieved inclusion on the framework following a qualification process and procurement approached a supplier with links to the Welsh economy.
