## Summary

The Denbighshire County Council is currently planning the Denbigh Health and Social Care Project in Ruthin. This project aims to review and possibly relocate existing Health & Social Care buildings to enhance integration and service delivery. They are now at the stage of preparing the Outline Business Case with a tender expected to be launched later in the year. Interested parties are requested to provide indicative costs by 31/05/24 for the full programme OBC.

The procurement falls under the services category, specifically focusing on real estate, development, architectural, and construction consultancy services. Businesses in these sectors, particularly those with experience in healthcare facilities and construction projects, are well-suited to compete for this opportunity. The project emphasises the need for fit-for-purpose and community-centric premises to support various integrated services, presenting a significant growth opportunity for businesses with expertise in delivering such solutions.

Denbighshire County Council and Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board are collaborating to review the use of their current Health & Social Care buildings in Denbigh. This being with a view to enable opportunities for further integration and co-location of services. This OBC will seeks to deliver fit for purpose premises that are accessible, have sufficient space for current and future provision, are well located, meet the needs of local people, and supports service delivery. The proposal is influenced by a broad range of factors, including the poor condition of the existing estate, improving service delivery, bringing services closer to the community and the need to overcome limitations such as access, space, and parking. This programme seeks to look for enhanced accommodation solutions that facilitate and support the co-location and integration of several services including:- Outpatient Clinics - Primary Care services - Community Resource Team- Rehabilitation and Therapies Services - Local Clinics - Local Authority services- Residential EMI care, intermediate care, and residential care provision- Step up/ Step-downThe Strategic Outline Case (SOC) has already been completed and has been through the appropriate governance.
