This programme aims to kickstart key projects within the six local authorities adjacent to the A465 to enhance prosperity and competitiveness. The Council is acting as a Central Purchasing Body on behalf of the Cardiff Capital Region, and interested parties must express interest by 1st July 2024 to procurement@rctcbc.gov.uk. This consultancy opportunity is suitable for businesses offering financial consultancy, business analysis, project management, research and development services, business development consultancy, and marketing management consultancy. The selected consultant will work on clarifying project requirements, building investable proposals, supporting internal approval processes, and contributing to the NVI Programme development. It is a 12-month contract with a maximum of 16 hours per week of work, including funded travel and daily expenses. ## Notice Rhondda Cynon Taf CBC are acting as a Central Purchasing body on behalf of South East Wales Corporate Joint Committee known as Cardiff Capital Region.Cardiff Capital Region require consultancy services related to business proposal development in relation to the Northern Valleys Initiative.The Northern Valleys Initiative (NVI) was a programme initiated in April 2024. It has the aim of helping enable / kick start key projects within the six local authorities immediately adjacent to the A465 in order to generate an increase in prosperity and competitiveness. Projects have been invited from both Local Authorities and Businesses.Since the soft launch of the programme in December 2023, it is has become apparent that some smaller businesses, that could be considered potentially transformational, do not have the capacity to present a 'investable' proposal.
