## Summary

The LHC Procurement Group for the Welsh Procurement Alliance (WPA) has initiated an open procedure for the RS5M Roofing Systems Framework, targeting roofing manufacturers. This framework, valued at £1,000,000, is designed to succeed LHC's current RS4 agreement, expiring in May 2025. The procurement covers various public sector entities across the UK, including local authorities, social landlords, and educational institutions, to deliver and maintain roofing systems for multiple public buildings. The tender phase is currently active, with a submission deadline on 25th October 2024 at 12:00 PM. Evaluation will commence immediately post-deadline, and the award notices are expected to be issued from 14:00 PM the same day. The contracts under this framework will span from 2nd December 2024 to 2nd June 2029.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for companies specializing in roofing systems, including traditional flat, liquid flat, and profiled metal roofing. Manufacturers in these areas can leverage this framework to access consistent and substantial procurement routes. Businesses offering comprehensive roofing solutions, including maintenance and associated products, are well-suited to compete. Given the requirement to cover multiple regional areas within the UK, this tender can also benefit regional suppliers aiming to expand their market reach. Engaging with this opportunity can position businesses at the forefront of public sector frameworks, securing long-term, high-value contracts.
