## Summary

The Welsh Government, represented by Carly Jones, has awarded a contract to Miller Research (UK) Ltd for the "JOINT INSPECTION TEAM EVALUATION" project. The contract, valued at £49,756.25, involves a comprehensive evaluation of the Joint Evaluation Team's (JIT) processes and impacts, focusing on key performance indicators. This research encompasses multiple aspects such as recruitment, risk-based methodologies, inspection outcomes, and stakeholder relationships, aiming to assess the effectiveness and future potential of the JIT. The procurement process was managed through an open method, and the contract was signed on 15th November 2024, following the award notice released on 29th November 2024. The primary industry category for this tender is services, specifically research and development consultancy services, with activities occurring across Wales, particularly in Cardiff and Gwent.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses operating within the research and consultancy sector, specifically those specialising in public safety, risk assessment, and organisational evaluation. Companies with expertise in developing methodologies, analysing programme effectiveness, and collaborating with local authorities and emergency services would be well-suited to compete for similar contracts. Participating in such tenders can enhance a company's portfolio, provide financial growth, and establish relationships with government bodies, thereby reinforcing business credibility and opening doors to further public sector opportunities.
