## Summary

The Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Authority is in the planning stage of procuring a new mobilisation, planning, and alerting rota system. The procurement process is focused on improving operational efficiencies for their predominantly rural service area, which covers two-thirds of the landmass of Wales. The buyer is inviting expressions of interest from suppliers to present their solutions on 11th October 2024. Key dates for the procurement include the tender advertisement on 20th January 2025, the deadline for clarifications on 14th February 2025, and the tender submission deadline on 21st February 2025. The contract is expected to be awarded by 21st March 2025, with a start date of 1st April 2025.

This tender presents significant opportunities for suppliers specialising in emergency services systems, particularly those with expertise in mobilisation, planning, rota management, and alerting technologies. Businesses with existing solutions that feature user-friendly interfaces, integration with command and control systems, and support for various duty systems will find this opportunity valuable. Additionally, suppliers offering systems that can handle intelligent mobilisation of resources and effective reporting tools will be well-suited to compete. The contract duration is set for four years, with possible extensions up to a further six years, offering long-term growth and partnership potential.
