Cardiff University require a machine translation software package that provides the following:* An online portal for our clients to submit their work requests that can be embedded into our intranet* A workflow management system for the Welsh Translation Unit and clients to be able to track progress of work requests (both internal and external) to ensure timely completion and delivery* Integrations with machine translation (MT) providers to aid with translation speeds* Machine learning, based on translation choices in the target language, provided by the MT AI* A customer memory bank of all previously translated materials (to speed up translation turnaround times)* Integration with our Squiz programme (to allow for seamless editing of web content)* Immediate analysis of word count to determine what is already in the memory bank and how many new words need to be translated* Immediate quote function to determine cost of translation, based on number of new words and external suppliers' rates* A reporting and analysis function for data and performance monitoring
