The specialist service provider will have to be knowledgeable and qualified regarding hoarding condition be willing to utilise person-centred and trauma-informed support approaches. This should include therapeutic support to coincide with some practical support. Practical support should involve assisting the individual to reduce hoarding in their property so that health and safety risks due to hoarding are removed.
