## Summary

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership-Procurement Services, hosted by Velindre University NHS Trust, is in the planning stage for a tender titled "Neurodevelopmental Diagnostic Assessments." This procurement opportunity is part of the health industry category and is located in Cardiff, UK. It aims to address the increased demand for Neurodevelopmental Diagnostic services for children and young people up to 18 years old in the Cardiff and Vale Health Board region. The tender process is scheduled to progress with key upcoming dates, including a future notice publication on 4th December 2024 and a pre-market engagement session on 3rd December 2024. The potential contract value is estimated at £900,000 GBP, covering services to be delivered both digitally and face-to-face, with implementation expected to start within 4 weeks of the contract award.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in clinical services, particularly those experienced in Neurodevelopmental assessments for conditions like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Companies with capacity for flexible service delivery, including digital platforms and in-person clinics, and staffed by qualified clinicians adhering to NICE Guidelines, will find this contract well-suited to their capabilities. Engaging in this procurement process could facilitate growth by enabling established health service providers to expand their services within an NHS framework, addressing long-standing assessment backlogs and contributing to enhanced healthcare outcomes for young people.
