## Summary

The Welsh Government (Llywodraeth Cymru) has concluded the procurement process for the "Online Business Information Factsheet Service." This contract, awarded through a limited award procedure, aims to enhance business support services by subscribing to a commercially-produced online reference resource. The procurement falls under the general public services industry category, with key activities centred in Cardiff, Wales. The tender process is now complete, with the contract signed on 8th November 2024, valuing £132,000 GBP. The rationale for the procurement method was based on the absence of competition for technical reasons, complying with specific Public Contracts Regulations.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in business information services. Suitable contenders are those capable of providing curated factsheets, guides, and reports to assist start-ups and established businesses across various sectors. Companies with expertise in creating comprehensive business resources, including details on market potential, start-up costs, regulatory compliance, and marketing ideas, will find this contract particularly advantageous. Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), like the awarded supplier Cobweb Information Limited, are well-positioned to leverage this opportunity by contributing to the Welsh Government's business support initiatives.
