## Summary

Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking to establish a Framework Agreement for the Installation and Maintenance of Electrical Systems (both domestic and non-domestic) for all its departments. This procurement falls under the 'works' category within the UKL23 region. The tender is in the active stage, with key dates including an updated submission deadline of 20th February 2025 at 17:00 and the opening of tenders on 21st February 2025 at 08:00. The framework will be divided into three lots: Lot A for housing responsive repairs, Lot B for housing bulk installations via mini-tender, and Lot C for corporate, schools, and public buildings responsive repairs and installations. The procurement method is an open procedure with electronic submissions via the eTenderWales portal.

This framework offers substantial opportunities for businesses involved in electrical systems installation and maintenance. Contractors of all sizes with the capability to handle responsive repairs and larger installation projects could benefit. Lots include work on approximately 11,500 domestic sites and 150 public buildings such as schools and offices. The varied scope of work, from reactive maintenance to full installations, creates opportunities for businesses specialising in either sector, fostering business growth through steady and diversified project assignments. The contract also emphasises using competitive mini-competitions and direct awards, ensuring fair access for capable contractors.
