## Summary

The LHC Procurement Group for the Welsh Procurement Alliance (WPA) has awarded a new Roofing Systems Framework (RS5M) for the supply and delivery of roofing systems and associated products. This framework aims to support various public sector refurbishment and new build projects across local authorities, social landlords, and other public sector bodies in England and Wales. The framework, which succeeds the previous RS4 agreement, will commence on 8th January 2025 and run for 4 years and 6 months. Key locations include multiple regions within the UK, focusing on areas such as multi-occupancy residential buildings, schools, colleges, universities, public offices, NHS buildings, and other public buildings. The procurement stage is complete, and the framework was awarded using an open procedure method.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses involved in the manufacture and supply of roofing systems. Notable workstreams include Traditional Flat Roofing, Liquid Flat Roofing, and Profiled Metal Roofing. Both large-scale and SME suppliers have been awarded contracts, ensuring comprehensive coverage across various regions. Businesses capable of delivering high-quality roofing solutions and offering robust technical support, inspections, and maintenance services will find significant growth potential in this framework. Additionally, contractors that can provide innovative and sustainable roofing products are well-positioned to benefit from long-term engagement and potential future collaborations within the public sector.
