The key services that any new Waste Management Solution would need to focus on are collection of general waste, recycling, garden waste and assisted collections, but must have the option to cover the other areas of waste in the future. Renewal: The contract will be for an initial 5 year period, with one option to extend by 3 years, followed by an additional option to extend by a further 2 years. This will mean a contract with a maximum contract length of 10 years (5+3+2).
