This data is crucial for Welsh Government Officials where policy decisions are made relating to future Ministerial priorities for the museum and culture sector in Wales. Additionally, Museum Spotlight Survey data can support museums who are able to access up to date data and benchmark themselves against a range of comparators.There are two overarching aims to this research project, and these are split into two distinct phases of work. The first phase requires the successful bidder to undertake the Museum Spotlight Survey 2024 and provide support to the museum sector in advance of and during the main stages of fieldwork to maximise the response rate.During the second phase, the bidder will be expected to help Welsh Government officials facilitate museum sector engagement and participation via a series of virtual workshops to communicate key findings from the survey to the sector.It is anticipated the successful Bidder will deliver both phases of work and have a good understanding of the museum sector in Wales.
