## Summary

Public Health Wales has awarded a contract for the Harm Reduction Database, a vital tool used in over 330 sites across Wales, to NEO360 LIMITED. This contract, managed by the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, falls within the health industry category and operates under the open procurement procedure. The procurement, which transitioned from the tender stage in February 2025 to the award stage on 22nd July 2025, serves a central role in substance misuse services. Located in Cardiff, this procurement supports a database solution critical for health profiling and data analysis in the UK region. The contract value is £350,000, with an expiry set for 18th August 2025.

This tender represents a considerable opportunity for SMEs in the technology and health sectors, particularly those specialising in database management and online platforms. With the high emphasis on quality (40%) and price (60%) in the award criteria, businesses offering innovative, cost-effective solutions while maintaining high standards are well-positioned to compete. Additionally, given the project's potential extensions, participating businesses have the opportunity for long-term partnerships that foster growth in the public sector. The procurement also underscores the demand for technical expertise in handling sensitive health data for public services.
