In addition to the bridge, the recently completed construction works included highway realignment and utility diversions.Works Completed by Others, include but are not limited to the following, and are to be verified by the Contractor;* Cabling/Switchover Works,o Cabling and electrical switchover works as part of the traffic management (TM) phase 1,* BT Chamber Removal and backfill,* Southeast (SE) Corner Civil Works,o The reinforced concrete (RC) base for the a Vehicle Restraint System (VRS) was installed,o Signage, the RC foundation for Column 2N, signal sockets, edgings, tactile paving, and VRS were installed,o Construction of Taff Trail footpath corner,* Column Installation,o Column 2N was erected at the designated location and all necessary connections were made,o The electrical connection was completed between Column 2N and Column 1N,* Site Clean-Up and Boundary Installation,o The boundary fence was installed along the VRS/guardrails, securing the area,* Road Reopening,o The road was reopened to traffic under temporary traffic light control and pedestrian crossings.* Any other completed works completed by Others.The works to be completed, include but are not limited to the following, and are to be verified by the Contractor;* Cardiff Road drainage works,* Cardiff Road Civils work - install traffic signal NALs, chamber, ducting, height extension to existing steel parapet to cycleway,* Cardiff Road Civils work - Street Light ducting, chamber, and column 1N RC foundation.
