## Summary

The procurement process for the Cardiff and Vale College (CaVC) project, spearheaded by Bouygues UK, focuses on delivering the Advanced Technology Centre at Cardiff Airport. This initiative falls under the 'works' category, with specific attention to the installation of blinds, interior blinds, and roller blinds. The current stage is in 'Award' following the tender initiation, with Bouygues UK acting as the buying organisation. Key dates include the tender period ending on 26th June 2025 and the award completion due by 1st September 2025. Companies interested in subcontracting can register their interest, though it is noted this opportunity remains speculative at this stage. This project, valued at approximately 155,956 GBP, offers subcontracting opportunities beyond typical EU rules under the Mutual Investment Model.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in blinds installation and manufacture, as well as those offering construction-related services. As Bouygues UK has already commenced works and secured the main contract, companies that fulfil requirements such as Constructionline Gold verification and have robust financial and insurance standings are well-positioned to compete. The project promises an expansive market in education-related construction, with capacity to serve nearly 2,000 learners and accommodate 215 staff, enhancing business prospects for qualified subcontractors ready to contribute to a landmark educational facility.
