This aspect of the research will synthesise key literature to understand the characteristics of the most effective approaches within the public sector.Aim two: To undertake qualitative methods with public sector organisations responsible for promoting children and young people's participation to understand:* the barriers facing organisations from adopting the NPS Charter and Kitemark, preventing uptake of the schemes* the extent to which the Charter and Kitemark support organisations to deliver and embed the NPS* the reasons why some organisations have chosen alternative frameworks or models to promote participation.
