## Summary

The Development Trusts Association Wales (DTA Wales) has initiated a procurement process titled "Delivery of energy audits and energy planning sessions for community buildings." This service, falling under the "services" category and specifically "energy-efficiency consultancy services" (CPV code: 71314300), aims to provide energy retrofit reports across Wales for community buildings as part of the Egin programme. Based in Cardiff, DTA Wales convenes this tender, which was in the tender stage as of 5th August 2025, with the award stage completed on 23rd September 2025. The awarded supplier, Severn Wye Energy Agency Ltd., has been contracted to deliver this service over a ten-month period from September 2025 to June 2026 unless the allocated budget of £45,000 is exhausted earlier.

This tender presents substantial growth opportunities for businesses specialising in energy efficiency and retrofit services. Companies with expertise in on-site energy assessment, report generation, and energy planning are well-positioned to compete. Organisations with the capability to provide qualified professional Retrofit Assessors adhering to PAS2035:2023 standards, especially those offering bilingual services in Welsh, can significantly enhance their prospects. The focus on underserved Welsh counties and WIMD priority areas highlights an emphasis on inclusive growth and outreach, offering businesses a chance to expand their reach and impact across Wales while contributing to community sustainability initiatives.
