## Summary

The Future Generations Commissioner for Wales has awarded a contract for producing a White Paper titled "Culture for Future Generations White Paper". This procurement process, classified under research and development services, was focused on exploring options for protecting and promoting culture within public bodies across Wales. The award stage was finalised on 27th August 2025, with The Audience Agency selected as the successful supplier. The project involves a comprehensive examination of cultural policies and aims to align them with the Well-being of Future Generations Act. This initiative originated from the buyer's office in Cardiff and falls under an open procurement method, having initially entered the tender stage at the beginning of August 2025. Interested parties could submit bids up until 25th August 2025.

This tender represents a valuable opportunity for businesses specialising in policy-oriented research or cultural policy development. With a budget of £10,000, this project could benefit organisations with expertise in stakeholder engagement, cultural consultancy, or those capable of assessing and proposing new funding models for cultural initiatives. Businesses with experience in working with statutory bodies and cultural organisations, as well as those capable of undertaking international comparisons, would be particularly well-suited. Moreover, companies with innovative approaches involving young people or underrepresented groups could find this project an ideal platform to expand their influence and contribute to national policy development in Wales.
