## Summary

The Wyeside Arts Centre is seeking to engage with suppliers for civil and structural engineering consultancy services for the RIBA Stage 3+ (Developed Design) of a project, primarily focused on refurbishing a Grade II listed building, the cultural venue in Builth Wells, Powys. The procurement process is currently at the tender stage, with an open procurement method. Interested suppliers must register their interest via Sell2Wales by 17th August 2025, as the tender will be issued the following week commencing 18th August 2025. The tender period will conclude shortly after due to strict funding requirements, necessitating prompt submission within 10 working days of the publication of the Invitation to Tender (ITT), and planning submissions are required by March 2026.

This opportunity represents significant business growth potential, particularly for firms specialising in architectural, construction, engineering, and inspection services. Companies with a proven track record in managing capital arts developments, sensitive heritage modifications, and delivering refurbishments of cultural venues will find themselves particularly well-suited to compete. The buyer seeks suppliers with experience in projects involving Grade II listed buildings, strong project coordination skills, and familiarity with both Welsh planning and Building Regulations. Enterprises with BIM/REVIT capabilities and appropriate Professional Indemnity Insurance stand an excellent chance to succeed. The project provides a platform for demonstrating expertise in liaising with building control and statutory authorities and contributing to innovative engineering and design solutions.
