This tender falls within the health industry category and addresses a critical need for specialised care for individuals with substance dependencies. The procurement stage is currently at the tender phase, with a tender submission deadline set for midday on 7th October 2025. The service provision focuses on regions UKL11, UKL12, UKL13, and UKL23, highlighting areas with notable rates of substance misuse. The tender is valued at £5,100,000 and will utilise an electronic submission method through the eTender Wales portal.

Businesses with experience in delivering high-quality healthcare services and a strong understanding of managing co-morbid physical and psychiatric complications could find this tender well-suited to their capabilities. The procurement process will consider a balance of 30% cost and 70% quality, offering an incentive for businesses that prioritise service excellence. Furthermore, the procurement offers a potential contractual duration of three years, with the possibility of extending for two additional one-year periods, subject to supplier performance. Participation in this tender could enhance business credibility and expand service reach within the critical healthcare sector in Wales.
