## Summary

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership-Procurement Services, hosted by Velindre University NHS Trust and located in Cardiff, is initiating a procurement process for "Life After Stroke Services" under the Health category. The process is in the Planning stage, with a future notice date set for 1st November 2025. This procurement focuses on services supporting adults diagnosed with a stroke across the UK, specifically in the Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board region. The procurement method is under the Provider Selection Regime Wales (PSR Wales), which falls outside the scope of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and involves a tender process for awarding contracts to suitable providers.

This tender presents significant opportunities for third sector providers aiming to deliver comprehensive stroke support services, facilitating a smooth transition from hospital to home for stroke survivors. The contract requires the provision of high-quality information, support, and advice for up to twelve months post-stroke, making it ideal for businesses specialising in health care, rehabilitation services, and emotional support activities. Companies experienced in liaising with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies will find substantial growth potential through community engagement and collaboration under this arrangement.
