## Summary

The procurement process is initiated by NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership-Procurement Services, hosted by Velindre University NHS Trust, based in Woodland House, Cardiff. This tender titled "Cardiff Third Sector Council" falls under the health industry category, aiming to support strategic partnership among statutory health and care organisations and the local third sector in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. At the planning stage, essential documents have laid out how Health and Social Care Facilitators will create conduits for third sector engagement in health policies. Anticipated future notices for this procurement are scheduled for release on 16 February 2026. The procurement process, governed by the EU legal framework and classified under CPV code 85000000, is aimed at service provision with a projected value of £59,897 GBP.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses involved in third sector support, healthcare consultancy, and public service management. Organisations adept in facilitating workshops, training, and third sector consultation will find this an ideal opportunity to expand their network and influence in the region. The initiative offers growth prospects for companies that assist in governance, design, and delivery of healthcare services, as well as those providing a voice and representation for the wider sector. Businesses skilled in facilitating cross-sectoral engagements and capable of delivering cohesive support and innovation within health and social care partnerships would be well-suited to compete in this procurement process.
