## Summary

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre University NHS Trust, has undertaken a procurement process titled "April 2026 Refresh of National Collaborative Framework for Adult MH LD & CAMHS Hospital Services," under the health sector category. Located in Cardiff, UK, this process pertains to the award stage of a contract for services within the UKL region. This is part of an annual refresh exercise under the Provider Selection Regime Wales. Key dates include the publication of an award intention notice on 5 March 2026, following the contracts being signed on 27 February 2026. Representations by providers must be made by midnight on 14 March 2026. The open procedure procurement method was employed, and the framework agreement runs until 31 March 2027.

The tender presents significant opportunities for growth, particularly for large-scale healthcare service providers. Firms with expertise in adult mental health, learning disabilities, and CAMHS hospital services can compete to join the framework. New entrants could benefit from contributing fresh solutions or services in meeting clinical, geographical, and social patient needs, as well as improving access to care and addressing health inequalities. Businesses that leverage high-quality assurance ratings, competitive pricing, and strong community benefits are well-suited to stand out in this procurement contest, thereby fostering collaboration and service sustainability. This opportunity could also enhance a company's profile through association with a reputable public health authority and broaden their reach within the NHS networks.
